South London Samba

We are South London Samba, a collective of young people who love to drum. We play energetic music inspired by Latin, Caribbean and African rhythms, blended together with our South London vibe. We've performed with the Black Eyed Peas (UEFA Champions League Final 2017), Eastenders BBC Children In Need, Crystal Palace FC, Lovebox Festival, Big Feastival, O2 Arena, Virgo Festival and Notting Hill Carnival (to name a few). We're currently rehearsing and running classes at The Midi Music Company in New Cross.

If you love to drum then why not join us?

Our doors are open to anyone age 18-25 with a strong sense of rhythm. You don't have to be a professional drummer, just someone who can pick up new beats quickly and is able to learn in a positive way. Before being accepted into the band your playing and character will be assessed, but don't let that stop you from getting in touch!

We practise in New Cross every Monday and Wednesday 6:30-8:30pm.

If you think this is for you or anyone you know then please don't hesitate to get in touch via phone or email.
